  Extremely awful experience. I walked up to the counter to see if my prescription had been filled and I was told they hadn’t received a script from my doctor, and was told to wait, that they would call me when they received it. After 20 minutes and still no call, I decided to wait in front of the pharmacy in case they had forgotten about me. After waiting another 15 minutes to be helped again, I was advised they still had not received a script. No one offered to call my doctor, no one asked any further questions, so I called my doctor’s office. I was informed that they had sent over the script and that they would contact Kroger Pharmacy personally for me. After another 20+ minutes of waiting, someone asked for my name and DOB again and claimed they STILL did not have my script. I asked if there was any way they could contact my doctor because I had already done so and it got me nowhere. The tech helping me got an attitude with me, huffing while saying “well, I have no doctor information” and walked away. After a few more minutes, she came back and asked what kind of a prescription medicine it was, I stated “I needed to pick up an elbow brace” and she simply said “oh we don’t do those here.” After over an hour of waiting and miscommunication, I was told they do not fill those prescriptions. One would think the pharmacy would get all of the facts from the beginning, but I suppose this pharmacy doesn’t seem that necessary. I will not be giving this pharmacy any of my future business. I am very disappointed with the way the situation was handled.

  I've had a smooth expirence every time I've used the independence pharmacy. 9 times out of 10 I'm able to walk right up and speak to someone about a prescription. That 1 time I don't get to walk right up I've waited under 5 mins to be addressed.
